SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN Yes, you heard that right. Santa’s elves are starting early this year in order to bring you the best kick off to the holiday season Punta Gorda has ever seen! Dear Local Business Partners, We are starting our sponsorship campaign for the annual Downtown Holiday Celebration and Tree Lighting. This spectacular event is a holiday tradition of music, Santa, snow showers and authentic family fun. Our towering tree with glowing beautiful lights, shimmering ornaments, and a stunning star topper, will light up all of downtown on the night of Friday, December 1, 2017. The festivities kick off at 5 p.m. on the former City Marketplace property, at the corner of W. Marion Ave. and Taylor St., in the vicinity of the Punta Gorda Christmas Tree. This is an all-inclusive, FREE event put on by community leaders with support from people like you.
