The report presents an overview of the situation in the camp, including basic demographic data, infrastructures and access to services as of December 2015. Information has been compiled based on various data sources, monitoring exercise and formal/informal interview with camp residents. Field camp coordination meeting held in November: Agencies Present: DRC (CCCM), CDN (Wash), DRC (Protection), IRC (Health).  General updates from different actors;  

Next Camp Coordination meeting at field level is scheduled on 31st November at 10:30. Next meeting with CMC members is scheduled on the 7th of November.

Planning to distribute hygiene kits and refill kits, but date is not yet confirmed; Planning to replace latrines. Health profiling data-collection ongoing; Regular activities on-going. Regular activities on-going (Screening; weight and height; Health Education; Appetite test; Provide RUTF and Ration for those under Nut criteria; Breast Feeding Counseling; PSS; Play sessions). On-going RUTF and Nutritional Ration awareness session with the community. Nothing was reported.

Protection Team will continue working with PSNs in the camps and following up on them and identification of PSNs for IPAs and distribution; Identification of protection concerns.

Awareness session to parenting groups on the 7th at the Youth Centre; Child protection meeting on the 7th at the Youth Centre.

Community Participation &Social Cohesion

CCCM will conduct a training on “Basic knowledge of Protection” to CMCs on the 10th of December.

Regular protection activities ongoing; On-going FGD with elderly and psychosocial support training for the elderly; Monthly meeting with the women group facilitators and regular FGD with the women.

Regular activities on-going; Activities for the 16 days of activism are on-going.

DRC CCCM will organize a training on CCCM role and responsibilities for service providers facilitated by IOM. Date and venue will be confirmed in the coming days.
