Rakhine State, MYANMAR Monthly Camp Report: Say ThaMarGyi (inclusive of PhweYaKone) Reporting Period: 12-2015 The report presents an overview of the situation in the camp, including basic demographic data, infrastructures and access to services as of December 2015. Information has been compiled based on various data sources, monitoring exercise and formal/informal interview with camp residents. Next Camp Coordination meeting at field level is scheduled on the 24thof December at 10:30. Next meeting with CMC members is scheduled on the 21st of December at 11:30. Next meeting with the Camp Women’s Association (CWA) is scheduled at the end of the month.

Have provided capacity building trainings for 30 members of Food Member Committee (FMC) and Camp Management Committee (CMC) from STMG and PYG and focus group discussion with women; Distributed food rations with rice, wheat soya blend (WSB), oil, salt and pulses to 585 of population in 1581 HH 4th week of November for the month of November.

Rakhine State, MYANMAR at 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. MRF clinic: Regular MRF clinic is running Monday to Friday (9:00 to 12:00). On Friday, the clinic runs from 9:00 to 12:30. IRC informs that the clinic will be closed on the 14th, 15th and 16th December due to a polio vaccination campaign in collaboration with SHD.

Psychosocial support, case management, referral and counseling will be available upon IDPs’ request. As part of 16 days of activism’s activities, IRC has organized an exhibition of pictures representing GBV around the world, conducting storytelling on GBV and mural painting with both men and women.

A long-term behavior change intervention through group discussions with the community, called “Coffee and Tea session”, every Wednesdays/Thursdays at 2-4pm. Recreational activities like (sewing, embroidery, beading, math, literacy, painting/art, girls game time} take place at the centers each week. General information sessions, focus group discussions and all other activities are ongoing.

MHCP activities (Mental Health and Care Practices) - Psychosocial Counseling, Support Group, Home Visits are on-going at OTP center. Support group for women, men, mother in law and tba/th.
