Rakhine State, MYANMAR Monthly Camp Report: Say Tha Mar Gyi (inclusive of Phwe Ya Kone) Reporting Period: 06-2015 The report presents an overview of the situation in the camp, including basic demographic data, infrastructures and access to services as of June 2015. Information has been compiled based on various data sources, monitoring exercise and formal/informal interview with camp residents. RSG has started the repair and maintenance of shelters in the camp throughout the support of the CMC members. The starting date of Ramadan is on June 16, 2015.

Camp Level Update Field camp coordination meeting held in May: Camp o Agencies Present: DRC (CCCM), Oxfam (Wash), IRC (Health), MRF (Health/Food) DRC Manageme (Protection), Plan (Food/construction), SCI (Child Protection/ ANC), DRC (WASH) nt Support  Health-MRF informs that they planning to provide a basic health care training. 

 Clinic open Monday to Saturday(9:00 am to 2:00pm) WASH-Oxfam informs that they are planning to provide a training for teachers and students when Temporary Learning Spaces (TLSs) reopens  General updates from different actors;

Next Camp Coordination meeting at field level is scheduled on June 30 at 10:30. Next meeting with CMC members is scheduled on the 1st week of June Focus Group Discussion with the Women, Men, and Elderly groups is scheduled on the 2nd week of June (time and day to be confirmed).

UNHCR is planning to distribute NFI kits in STMG and PYG. -

In the last month, PLAN provided food rations for 1581 HH - total 8589 IDPs, in STMG camp and 326 HH- total 1830 population- in PYG camp.

IRC informs that during Ramadan the Women center will be opened from 8:30 to 1 pm and from 2pm to 4:30 pm. General information sessions, focus group discussions and all other activities are ongoing.

A long-term behavior change intervention through group discussions with the community, called “Coffee and Tea session”, every Wednesdays/Thursdays at 2-4pm. IRC has started a cycle of personal development trainings and creative courses, which consist of sewing, embroidery, beading, math, literacy, painting/art, girls’ game time. The courses will take place every week at the Women Center.

Back to school campaign at TLS and Youth Center First day of school on June 1st and open enrollment
