MICROSOFT RARE HOLIDAY CALENDAR SWEEPSTAKES OFFICIAL RULES NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. COMMON TERMS USED IN THESE RULES: These are the official rules that govern how the Microsoft Rare Holiday Calendar sweepstakes promotion will operate. This promotion will be simply referred to as the “Sweepstakes” throughout the rest of these rules. In these rules, “we,” “our,” and “us” refer to Microsoft Corporation, the sponsor of the Sweepstakes. “You” refers to an eligible Sweepstakes entrant. WHAT ARE THE START AND END DATES? This Sweepstakes starts at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time (PT) on December 1, 2015, and ends at 11:59 p.m. PT on December 24, 2015 (“Entry Period”). Entries must be received within the Entry Period to be eligible. CAN I ENTER? You are eligible to enter this Sweepstakes if you meet the following requirements at time of entry: 

You are are 13 years of age or older and have a lawfully registered account on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Facebook.com, Twitter.com or Instagram.com (“Social Media Accounts”). You understand that you are providing your information to the Sponsor and agree to release Social Media Accounts from all liability in relation to the Sweepstakes o



If you are 13 of age or older, but are considered a minor in your place of residence, you should ask your parent’s or legal guardian’s permission prior to submitting an entry into this Sweepstakes; and

You are NOT a resident of any of the following countries: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, and Syria. o

PLEASE NOTE: U.S. export regulations prohibit the export of goods and services to Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan and Syria. Therefore residents of these countries / regions are not eligible to participate.



You are NOT an employee of Microsoft Corporation or an employee of a Microsoft subsidiary; and



You are NOT involved in any part of the administration and execution of this Sweepstakes; and



You are NOT an immediate family (parent, sibling, spouse/domestic partner, child) or household member of a Microsoft employee, an employee of a Microsoft subsidiary, or a person involved in any part of the administration and execution of this Sweepstakes.

This Sweepstakes is void outside of the geographic area described above and wherever else prohibited by law. HOW DO I ENTER? On December 2nd, 4th, 6th, 7th, 9th, 11th, 14th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 21st and 23rd 2015 (each a separate “Prize Period”) a question or task such as replying to the post, following a channel, or sharing content will be posted from a RareLtd account on Social Media Accounts with entry instructions. For the purposes of this Sweepstakes a Prize Period begins at 8:00 a.m. Pacific Time (PT) and ends at 7:59 a.m. Pacific Time the following day. You will receive one Sweepstakes Entry during the Prize Period in which you login to a Social Media Account and post a publicly viewable message in reply to the entry instructions. Each Prize Period must be entered separately, entries will not carry over to the next Prize Period. All requested information must be provided or requested task must be completed to be eligible. The account settings for your Social Media Account set to "unprotected" or "public" or like to be eligible. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. You understand that you are providing your information to the Sponsor and not to Facebook. The information you provide will only be used for administering the Promotion and to contact you if you are a winner. Limit one entry per Prize Period; one per person per Social Media Account.
