The REAL foundation announces the departure of Shumi Bose from its team. Bose had previously appeared in REAL’s Kickstarter campaign video for the Real Review and was credited in its first issue. She also collaborated with REAL on Home Economics, the British Pavilion at the 2016 Venice Architecture Biennale. Bose ceased work with REAL and its associated projects in February 2016 and formally left the foundation on June 1, 2016. REAL Director, and Editor-in-Chief of the Real Review Jack Self said, “I wish Shumi every success for the future as she pursues her personal projects.”
