2011 RECYCLING COLLECTION SCHEDULE

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP

Granger recognizes the following major holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. All Granger offices and operations are closed for these holidays (noted on calendar in green). Street-side collections for the day of a holiday and each day following, during that week, will be delayed by one day. If the holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, there is no delay to street-side collections. This means that the Christmas 2010 and New Year's 2011 holidays will not result in a delay.

A cardboard box can be used to set out extra materials that don’t fit in your tub and it will get recycled, too! Or, use your own containers to transport more recyclables to the curb. Just be sure they are clearly labeled so they don’t get recycled or thrown away accidentally. If you are using a non-commercial grade container, be aware that it will not be as durable. Although our drivers handle your containers carefully, Granger cannot be responsible for damage to containers that are not made to withstand harsh winter conditions and wear and tear.
