About Us

Welcome to Red Monkey Play! At Red Monkey we create beautiful wooden play equipment that challenges kids to follow their own instincts, ideas and stories. Let’s get climbing, sliding, drawing, cooking, hiding, wobbling, jumping, learning, digging, splashing and pretending! We help schools, nurseries, leisure organisations and families to create imaginariums where kids can build confidence and independence in a fun, safe environment. Our Service & Guarantee Our Play Planners can design your play area for free. We’ll visit you on site and even get the kids involved, and we’ll install the equipment for you too. We can also provide items on a supply-only basis. Our products are built to last; as well as standing up to any amount of hide-and-seek, muddy tea parties and pirate rampages, they’re guaranteed for up to 10 years against rot and insect infestation too. (Apart from our bug houses, where insects are welcome!) Our Team We have over 20 years experience working with children and schools to support creative, open-ended play and deliver within budget. Our products are designed by our in house team and made by hand in our Leicestershire factory. Our Philosophy of Fun Fun is in the Red Monkey DNA. Everything we do is inspired by the way kids naturally think and play, and this passion makes us unique in our market. Loving Learning From bug habitats to flower and vegetable planters, our educational play equipment ‘grows’ children letting them get their hands on new ideas. Staying Natural We take our environmental responsibilities very seriously, and use only high quality, play-grade timber from sustainable sources. Keeping Safe Our equipment complies with all current safety standards and our staff are RPII (Register of Playgroud Inspectors International) trained – that means they know health and safety inside out! Our Age Guidelines To help you, we have provided throughout this catalogue an indication of the age of children that can use the equipment. Please note that all of our play equipment is only to be used for supervised play, regardless of the age of children using it.

Our Service

Our Bespoke Service As well as supplying the great play equipment you can find in this brochure, Red Monkey offer a complete playground desgin service especially for schools and nurseries.The Red Monkey service is like nothing you’ll see from other playground suppliers – we don’t just build you a great playground from our range of play equipment, we work directly with you to hand-craft a playground that’s completely unique to you! Stage 1: Consultation One of our friendly site managers will come to your school or nursery, completely free of charge, to discuss your needs and examine the area where your new pay area will be installed. This is the stage where we want to hear all of your play ideas, so we can create your perfect playground. Stage 2: Design Having measured up the space for your new play area and filling it full of great ideas, your site manager will produce a technical drawing of your playground to give to our design team. Our designers will then get to work building your playground from the ground up on their fancy computers. The result is a stunning 3D drawing that shows exactly what your finished playground will look like, down to the tiniest detail. This is where you start to see your playground ideas come to life! Stage 3: Quotation We send you the 3D plans of your playground along with our quote. At this point we’re still completely open to your ideas – want to swap a play unit for a pirate ship? No problem. Want to include a more challenging trim trail? Just let us know! We never finalise a job before we know that you are completely happy with the design of your new play area. Stage 4: Installation When you’ve accepted our final quote, it’s time for our installation team to get to work! Run by RPII certified playground suppliers, our installers ensure your new playground comes together quickly and painlessly! Once the installation team have worked their magic, you’re left with a stunning new play area that’s sure to inspire your children for years to come!
