Registrar St. Andrew’s College Primary Responsibilities: The Registrar is responsible for all aspects of application, admission, registration and tracking of students and prospective students of St. Andrew’s College. This position is a resource and offers support to prospective students, registered students, faculty and staff of the College, is knowledgeable of all academic programs and processes and for communicating information to the respective parties. The Registrar is a critical component in the everyday life of the College and involved in each student’s path through their St. Andrew’s experience. Qualifications and Skills Required: • • • • • • • • •

Completion of a post-secondary education degree or program with related experience in a customeroriented workplace. Ability to work independently and with committees and individuals. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Thorough knowledge of graduate education. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to keep track of numerous details. Acceptance of the ethos and inclusive nature of The United Church of Canada and St. Andrew’s College. Understanding of or ability to become familiar with the jurisdictions and educational systems within The United Church of Canada and University of Saskatchewan student services. Comprehension of the process and theory of supervised learning. Comfort with learning new software and using computer-based data management systems.

The College: St. Andrew's College offers theological education and training to candidates for ministry within The United Church of Canada, to lay people interested in theological studies, and to people in ministry seeking continuing education and professional development. It prepares people for servant Christian leadership within a community that is welcoming, inclusive, justice-seeking and supportive. St. Andrew’s is located on the campus of the University of Saskatchewan and is an affiliated college of the University. It provides on-campus and distance education courses toward a variety of degrees, at the Diploma, Masters and Doctorate levels. Details: This is a permanent part-time position consisting of 25 hours week (Monday to Friday, 5 hours/day). The salary scale is from $21.47 to $25.63/hour and the positon offers a generous health and benefit plan. Please apply no later than August 9, 2016.
