AN ACT TO DESIGNATE A CERTAIN BRIDGE ON U.S. HIGHWAY 82 IN LOWNDES COUNTY AS THE "SENATOR TERRY W. BROWN MEMORIAL BRIDGE"; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1.

(1)

That bridge that spans the Tombigbee River

6

on U.S. Highway 82 in Lowndes County is designated and shall be

7

known as the "Senator Terry W. Brown Memorial Bridge."

(2)

The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall erect

and maintain appropriate signs along and approaching the bridge described in subsection (1) of this section. SECTION 2.

This act shall take effect and be in force from

and after its passage.
