Leaderboards—four in total, as referenced in bold above (NEW) • Most important! Leaderboard performance will not determine challenge money award o Daylong challenges will provide opportunities for ANY AREA at Rutgers to win award money, regardless of whether they are listed on the leaderboard. Challenge Money Awards: Daylong and Social Media (refer to toolkit for listings of both) (NEW) • $100,000 daylong competitions (based on donor counts and donor types) and social challenges (based on social media engagement) will be offered throughout the day RGD Hourly Open Houses • Learn more about Rutgers Giving Day and the toolkit, and ask questions • Check the toolkit for a list of upcoming dates and times: o New Brunswick—three dates (hourly slots) o Camden and Newark—one date for each (hourly slots) GivingDay.Rutgers.edu Website Features • Landing page o Rutgers Giving Day Video o Thermometer for donor count o Tracking of dollars • Donor form (NEW) o Can make one-time gift or a monthly recurring gift o Split gift: select two designations and your donation will be split 50/50 • Thank-you email/tax receipt: all donors who make a gift online will receive an automatic thank- you email with social sharing options. This also serves as a tax receipt. • Update! Create a match (dollars) to specific fund only—simpler this year o Donor will find this feature on left side of page, after scrolling down o Online giving form will highlight any open matches
