Christmas Lights Switch-on Event

A Dickensian Christmas

All Saints’ Square Thursday 14th November, from 4.30pm

Rotherham Town Centre Saturday 7th December, 10am – 3pm

The count down to Christmas begins in Rotherham with this annual festive spectacular including a Craft and Gift Market! The main event starts in All Saints’ Square from 4.30pm. Hosted by Rother FM, there will be performances from The Voice finalists Karl Michael and Emma Jade Garbutt, X Factor finalists Diva Fever, The Voices of Abba and the cast of this year’s pantomime Beauty and the Beast. Free parking in Council-owned car parks and on-street parking bays from 4.30pm.

Rotherham travels back in time for a fantastic Dickens Christmas celebration with music, entertainment, Dickensian craft workshops, Victorian themed market, hog roast and much more! Free parking in Council-owned car parks and on-street parking bays*.

Festive Fun and Skate Rotherham Town Centre Sunday 1st December, 10am – 4pm To launch the Christmas Sunday trading join us in the Town Centre for festive family fun which includes an ice rink (synthetic) in All Saints’ Square, entertainment and walkabout characters. Magical Reindeer Experience Rotherham Town Centre Saturday 14th December, 11am – 3pm Join Santa and his reindeer at this fantastic event including a Craft and Gift Market and a very special ‘Magic Carpet Magic Circus Show’. The reindeer parade starts at 12.45pm and travels through the town centre before entering a viewing area outside Boots. Listen out for our Magical VIP Reindeer competition on Rother FM!
