Welcome to another Season of hockey at Redlands, RHA. It is looking to be a great year with lots to celebrate….. 10 Years young. To kick off our tenth season RHA have a brand new look, and although running a bit late, we should receive our new uniforms by Round 2. Here is a preview of the new uniforms. RHA has a new RDO this year as well, Taylah Freeman. Taylah has been with the association since the beginning. As a player, a coach, an umpire we have watched her grow and develop her skills over the years, she is well qualified for the role of RDO. Taylah has some great ideas and she begins the season with 2 coaching courses this week-end. They are open to everyone, and especially for our new developing coaches. Click here to see the details for the Community Coaching Course and here for the Level 1 Coaching Course. There is a new fundraising team - Sarah, Jade and Nicki and they have some great “Funraising” activities planned for RHA this year. They are kicking off the season with a Junior and Senior Welcome on 6th May, so watch out for information on these events. They are also planning our usual chocolate drive, a car rally, a Junior Fun day and a Senior Trivial night as well as the usual weekly raffles. Stacey is back in the canteen again this season, so look out for some yummy treats. She is again seeking volunteers to assist her and every junior will have a turn in helping out. This week the Red Under 10 team is on roster so parents please come up and give a hand and also earn back some of your volunteer levy.

Thank you Under 10 RED team, you are on roster this Saturday. Please arrive early to help setup and help out in the canteen. See your team manager for details. The Rep season has already begun and the RHA men’s masters are off to Townsville this week-end to compete in the O50s State Championships. Play Hard Guys! Some of you will also have had invitations to nominate for the Under 13s, Under 18s and Women’s masters teams. Nominations have opened and will close on the 28th April for the U13s and U18s.
