NB. you require your own whistle (Fox40 Pea less) and an umpire shirt., these items are available to purchase from the shed; whistles $15 each and umpire shirt $35 each.
Representative Hockey It has been a busy time on the representative front with The U18 Boys participating in the State Championships at Toowoomba, and the U18 Girls Tweed Heads for their State championships. Congratulations to Tammy and the U18 girls for reaching the Division 3 Final. A special well done to Hannah Callum (Bne) for being the Division 3 Best Player and to Elisha McMahon (Townsville) for making the Qld Squad. The U13s have also been away with the girls in Maryborough and the boys in Gladstone. Congratulations to the U13 girls who went through the tournament undefeated and finished 2nd after a hard fought draw against Tweed. Congratulations to Zoe Carter for Division 3 Player of the Tournament. Not only has RHA been well represented by the respective teams but also in the umpiring arena. Congratulations to Brooke Addison on being selected to umpire the U13 Girls Division 1 final, Damien Lee (Mt Isa) for the U18 men's Division 3 final and Nic Thomas being awarded is Community Advanced Umpiring. Nominations are currently open for the U15 girls and boys teams. Nomination information can be accessed here and close on the 21st of July . Nominations for the U11s have now closed. Selection trials will commence on Sunday the 9th of July.
Women’s Masters Training will continue this Sunday with Team 1 training at Easts Turf from 8 - 9am and Team 2 Training at HZP from 7:15 am. Please let Melanie (Team 1) or Sharon (Team 2) know if you will be unable to attend training.

J2 RED, it is your turn to help out with setting up and in the canteen. Setting up includes putting out rubbish bins, setting up tables, chairs, gazebos, filling ice bags and whatever else is required. Canteen duties REGISTER HERE include making sandwiches, BBQ, serving and whatever Stacey asks. Juniors Playing in the Seniors also Please make an effort to assist remember many hands make lighter work.
Social and Fundraising The 2nd Redlands Hockey Association Car Rally was held, in conjunction with a cake stall, on Saturday the 24th June. 6 Teams undertook the challenge of solving tricky riddles to navigate their way around the Redlands, venturing from HZP to the Victoria point Jetty and Cleveland point with many stops along the way. A fun day was had by all. A big thanks to the fundraising team who put in many hours to make this event happen.
From the Treasurer Umpire Payments Any umpires who have not yet collected payments for the first half of the season are invited to see me at the fields on Saturday and collect their payments. If you would prefer to have any umpire payments offset against any outstanding fees please let me know and I can arrange to have this done.
