Those whose businesses had been digging or excavating less than 3 years were most likely to say they had seen or heard natural gas safety pipeline messages or materials. Of those who had seen or heard messages or materials: o 39% said the message was “Call before you dig;” o 28% said they had heard or seen, “Contractor/Worker Beware” messages; o 24% said they had seen various general messages but could not recall the specifics; o 14% could not recall the message they saw or heard.
