Introduction to Self Study ● Providence Day School is a vibrant independent school of 1600 students, if the school were to adopt a motto, it might be “PDS students are empathetic problem solvers who aspire to be the change they want to see in the world.”

Visiting Team Observations ● The visiting team encountered a school in which every stakeholder group cherishes the sense of . As we met with students, parents, faculty/staff, board members, and administrators, it was abundantly clear that PDS values input from all key stakeholders and, as a result, there is a high level of buy-in for the strategic goals and self-study initiatives.
