Training Salons

Edinburgh College Training Salons are designed to give our hair & beauty students the best practical training. The salons provide top quality treatments with the help of quality brands like Elemis, Wella, Dermalogica, Crystal Clear and Jessica Nails. Support our students and get great value hair & beauty treatments. Students cover a range of levels and are priced to reflect their experience. Junior stylists are studying SVQ level 2 courses, our Senior stylists are training as part of SVQ level 3 course and our Graduate stylists are working towards their final year in HNC/ HND courses. The Hair & Beauty Academy at Granton was created to give students the opportunity to train in an industry leading environment before they graduate. Partnering with Elemis allows us to offer the highest quality well-known spa treatments at great value prices. Try our flotation therapy or iconic Elemis facial and body treatments (flotation only available at Granton Campus). We are also excited to open our New Aesthetic Skin clinic covering the latest beauty treatments including microdermabrasion and cosmetic skin peeling . The Wella Academy incorporates luxury hair treatments with environmental benefits, as one of the UK’s first eco-friendly college salons. Features include ceramic fuel cell, hot water recover and led lighting to save energy, mobile air filters suitable for asthmatic students & clients and a specialist Nioxin hair clinic.
