Suspects Wanted for Arson in Poway Up to $1,000 Reward Offered

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the Sheriff’s Bomb/Arson Unit are asking assistance from the public to help identify and locate the suspects responsible for several fires at Meadowbrook Middle School in Poway. On Friday, March 11, 2016, at about 8:00 a.m., a custodian at Meadowbrook Middle School called the Poway Sheriff’s Station to report fires that were set throughout the campus sometime earlier that morning. Posters were lit on fire, as well as a trash can and a locker. Surveillance video shows a group of juveniles on the school’s property on Friday, March 11th at around 1:00 a.m. Pictures of the suspects captured by surveillance video can be found on page 2 of this release. Anyone with information on the identity or location of the suspects is asked to call the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477. Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case.
