Recipes and Drinks Make some of the delicious food and drink mentioned in Tower of Dawn! Share your Southern Continent-inspired dishes with #ToDParty! “herbed rice of various colors” From the rice fields to the west, the capital is supplied with an abundance of delicious herbed rice dishes. “flatbreads coated in butter and garlic” Flatbreads are a staple at the feasts of the khagan. “flaky pastry dripping with honey and crusted in pistachios” The cook at the Torre Cesme makes sure Yrene is well-fed with her honeyed pastries. “little almond cakes” Nesryn finds solace in eating almond cakes with her family in the city. “rich wines and liquors” Create a virgin sangria to replicate the rich drinks the khagan serves from the vineyards across his empire. “peppermint tea with honey” Yrene recommends Chaol drink peppermint tea and honey to recover from their healing sessions.

Games and A ctivities Defend your ship debate •••••••••••••••••••• How to play: volunteers from the audience get up and debate each other to “defend their ship.” They can pick any relationship pairing they want as long as no two are the same. Then they should get up in pairs and debate (to a time limit) why their chosen relationship is the best! Note that the relationship can be a romance OR a friendship. Winners are determined by the loudest audience cheers.
