Notification on Extension of Visit Pass (eXTEND e-Service) For full-time Graduate Students (Matriculation with the Office of Admission) Applicants are required to ensure that they remain in Singapore on a valid Visit Pass at all times. Overstaying is a punishable offence under the Immigration Act. You will be issued with a short term Social Visit Pass (SVP) upon entry to Singapore. This SVP will be stamped on your passport and Disembarkation/Embarkation (DE) card. Your SVP must be valid on the date of the Offsite Enrolment (OSE) in NTU for completion of the formalities required for the issuance of a Student’s Pass. You can book an appointment for the OSE during your registration with the Student Affairs Office during your matriculation. Please refer to your e-welcome package for the registration details. If you have entered Singapore before 15 July 2018 for the matriculation with the Office of Admission and require extending your SVP, please follow the steps as follows. 1. Email the required information below to Ms Dawn Guo ([email protected]) with the email subject header as “Extension of SVP – Full-time Graduate Student” at least 14 working days before your Visit Pass expires. Only upon receipt of completed information, we will forward your details to ICA for you to submit the eXTEND e-Service without a need of a local sponsor. • • • • • • • • • • •

Full name (as shown on your passport) Nationality Gender Date of birth (dd/mm/yyyy) Passport number DE card number (Refer to either your IMM 27E (White Card) or Notification for Cancellation of Student’s Pass, Visit Pass and Embarkation Form – click on the hyperlinks for sample copies) Date of arrival FIN number (as stated on your IPA letter) Duration of SVP issue by ICA (refer to your SVP stamped on your passport/embarkation card) Date of your matriculation with the Office of Admission The date when your Student’s Pass application is approved (refer to the date shown on the top right corner of your IPA letter

2. Once ICA has done the needful, One Stop @ SAC will send an email to you to proceed with the submission of the eXTEND e-Service to extend your SVP. Upon receipt of our email, please follow the steps as follows. a. Access https://extend.ica.gov.sg/extend/index.xhtml to submit eXTEND e-Service at least 3 to 5 working days before the expiry date of your Visit Pass. b. Select “Individual” c. Select "Apply for Extension up to 30 days". You will need a VISA or MasterCard Credit/Debit Card if payment is needed.

Important Note i.

You are advised NOT to depart from Singapore. By doing so, your current DE Card will be voided, and you will face a problem with the eXTEND application. The eXTEND e-Service to Immigration & Checkpoints Authority of Singapore submission details will be made available to you via email.

If ICA requests you to attend an interview at ICA, please bring along the original letter in which you indicated your acceptance of the offer for admission to study in NTU.
