We are proud to announce the 8th Annual Salina Military Emergency Relief Fund Golf Tournament on Saturday, June 9, 2018 Spearheaded in 2012 by the late Salina business leader, philanthropist and Veteran Charlie Walker, the Salina Military Emergency Relief Fund provides assistance to local service members in need. The fund is sustained through donations and various Military Affairs Council fundraising events held year round. Here are just a few of the ways we have provided support to those in need...We contributed money to a Military family as they dealt with their family member’s tragic accident purchased a plane ticket so that a service member could visit his son in ICU, paid utility bills for a Military family facing financial difficulties after the spouse was laid off, and made a donation to a Military family who lost everything in a house fire. Join us for a great day of golf and help support the Salina Military Emergency Relief Fund
