Steering gear
Steering gear sizes 0.5 - 100 TM The range of Scan Steering is from 0.5 ton/meters to 100 ton/meters and can be installed on all types of vessels. The steering gear is suitable for one, two or more rudders, either with connection bar or electrical synchronizing. The steering gears main parts are as following: Power Pack, Base Plate, with support bearing, Cylinders, Tiller with keyway, Valve Block and all necessary valves, fittings and flexible hoses.

Compact installations The steering gear installations are often very compressed, but as Scan Steering is an extremely flexible company we customize our standard models to match the space available.
