Golf Canada Rules Govern All Play Local Rules Out of Bounds Defined by white stakes, white lines or boundary fences. Ball crossing O.B. on the hole being played and landing in bounds on another hole is out of bounds. Wa†er Hazards Water hazards are defined by yellow stakes/lines. All lateral water hazards are defined by red stakes/lines. Free Drop Nearest point of relief, one club length from roads, cart paths, staked trees, irrigation systems, yardage markers, and wooden or stone retaining walls or steps. Point of entry, one club length from garden areas on holes 2, 5 & 6. Embedded Ball A ball embedded in its own pitch mark in the ground anywhere through the green may be lifted, cleaned and dropped as near as possible to its original location, no nearer to the hole, without penalty.

Stones in Bunkers Stones in bunkers are movable obstructions (Rule 24-1 applies) Power Poles A ball striking a power pole or wires, shot must be replayed without penalty. Dress Code Men: Tasteful shirt with sleeves, jeans permitted provided they are in good repair. Ladies: No short shorts or bare midriff tops. All players are expected to play in 4 hours 15 minutes or faster, and must maintain position with the group they are following. Penalties for breach of this rule: Warning to pick up pace (rule may be skipped in serious breach); Pick up and resume play in position designated by Player’s Assistant; Removal from course. Pull carts and power carts are not permitted on tees or within 30 yards of the green. Due to BC liquor laws no personal coolers are permitted, all beverages to be purchased at course.
