Dear Families, Players and Sponsors I’d like to personally welcome you back to MA Olympic FC for the 2017 season. This will be another exciting year ahead as we continue to grow our club and its reputation as one of the most professional and successful football clubs in the Townsville community. After last year’s success we are aiming to continue to improve our player’s skills and techniques while keeping the great club spirit and family atmosphere that has been built up over the history of our proud club. But this doesn’t just happen so I would like to sincerely thank all the committee members, parents, players, sponsors and supporters of our great club. Without the help of an amazing number of volunteers this could not be achieved. There are still many opportunities at the club for volunteers to become involved and make a difference so please do not hesitate to contact one of our committee members if you would like to help out. Sign On Information: 2017 continues the complete online registration for all players, coaches and managers. Instructions and links to the portal are available on our website. We will have some computer kiosks available on the information day held out our club grounds, so can assist in helping people through the process. However this will obviously take time, so the club would be very appreciative if our members complete the registration online prior to attending information or training days. Myfootball.com.au also offers online payment of playing fees at time of sign on. This further streamlines the sign on process for the club. We will be accepting Cash, CHQ & EFTPOS at our club grounds. Direct deposit details are available on our website. NB: Minimum Payment amounts are being enforced this year. No Pay—No Play

NB: Future training days will be finalised with individual teams & coaches

Men, Women's & Youth: Men’s and Men’s youth preseason will commence 6:30 pm Tuesday 31st of January. Contact Michael Brooks on 0414 380 915 for further information . Coaching: As usual for the start of the season the club is still searching for interested parties with a desire to coach one of our junior or senior teams. Coaching courses with the NQ Fury Technical Director will be held in the early part of the year to help assist our coaches improve their knowledge and skills. If you are interested in attending a course or coaching a team, please contact the club on [email protected]. All coaches must register through myfootball.com.au to get their coaching lanyard and free entry into Brolga Park.

Club Merchandise The Club will be selling MA Olympic branded clothing throughout the year. Supporters shirts, playing shorts, playing socks, bucket hats, water bottles and stubby coolers are just a few of the items we will have for sale throughout the year. Keep an eye on our facebook page for when we take delivery of our gear.

Equipment: Juniors:


The club supplies a playing Shirt for games. Each player is responsible for supplying playing shorts , playing socks, shin pads & boots. Intersport and the clubhouse will have stock of shorts and socks hopefully by the 1st training session. We do encourage players to bring a correct size football to training with them.

Online Sign on:

2017 the club is moving away from the maroon socks juniors have warn in previous years. This year will be the same white socks seniors wore in 2016.

2017 AGM: We have made the decision to hold the AGM after the craziness of the first few weeks of season start. We hope this will encourage many new members to join our committee without the fear of being pushed in the deep end of trying to set up a season. We do have a number of returning members from 2016 committee however we consistently seek new faces to join the committee to keep our committee fresh and minimise burn out of our excellent volunteers. We have some very exciting projects for 2017, and we would love to see as many helpers as possible. We are all time poor, so the more helpers, the less time we all have to commit. 2016 Committee contact details are all available from our website if you would like to contact any of us.
