Securing Good Transport Jobs Hey, I’m Vish from Sydney. As a member of your delegate-led negotiation team, I want to update you on our second meeting with management.
We told CEVA that job security is a big concern for people who work in our yards. We said that CEVA work needs to be done by CEVA workers and it all needs to be paid at transport worker rates. We made it clear that schemes that outsource, undercut or reclassify our work are the wrong direction for CEVA and for our industry. If you want more info on what happened in negotiations, make sure you talk to your delegate. Winning a good agreement will not be easy. This is a fight for safe and fair transport work at CEVA and across the industry. Cheers
