2017-2018 Thompson Connections Event Schedule Seeing is Believing and Thompson2Life You’re Invited! All Community Members are invited to connect with the Thompson School District through the following interactive events featuring tours, presentations, and conversations with staff, faculty, and students. Seeing is Believing events provide an opportunity for parents, community members, and surrounding school districts to experience Personalized Learning in action in our middle and high schools. Thompson2Life (T2L) is a task force comprised of parents, community members, teachers and administrators that meet monthly to research, discuss and make decisions regarding ways to ensure College, Career, and Community Readiness for students Early Childhood through 12th grade (EC-12). As T2L moves forward into its 4th year, we’ll be exploring:  How Personalized Learning and Standards-Based Instruction in a Competency Based Education system is incorporated at all levels, EC-12  Communication channels and methods to share advances, changes, and opportunities to families and the community and to gather public input  Further enlightening/connecting students of all ages to post-secondary opportunities in: higher education, career options for all education levels, and community connections to explore career options and local industries.
