Semi - Finals Week UMPIRES -

You will have already been notified by email of your umpire duties but if not sure Click here to check. (if not up please check back). Local Rules for RHA can also be viewed here. NB. you require your own whistle (Fox40 Pea less) and an umpire shirt., these items are available to purchase from the shed; whistles $15 each and umpire shirt $35 each.

Senior Presentation will be held at he Cricket Club at HZP on Saturday the 9th of September. Please rsvp to [email protected] by 2 September.

Trophies If you are the holder of the men’s or women’s 2016 premiership trophies could you please return them to Stacey at the Canteen this Saturday. Thank you J1 Gold team, you are on roster this Saturday. Please arrive early to help setup and help out in the canteen. See your team manager for details.

End of season Raffle There is a swag of prizes up for grabs in the end of year raffle including, a signed Jamie Dwyer shirt, signed Louise Dobson 1996 Atlanta photo, Hockey Stick and Bag, meat voucher, swimming lessons and many more. Tickets cost $2 each or 3 for $5 and will be drawn at the junior presentation. Please return ickets o he fundraising ten by he 2nd of September.

J1 Gold it is your turn to help out with setting up and in the canteen. Setting up includes putting out rubbish bins, setting up tables, chairs, gazebos, filling ice bags and whatever else is required. Canteen duties include making sandwiches, BBQ, serving and whatever Stacey asks. Please make an effort to assist remember many hands make lighter work.

Semi Finals Congratulations o the teams who progressed through to the finals last week. The day was filled with many tight games with 3 being decided by shootout. This week will see the following do or die maches. Please get along and support the teams as they strive to make the grand final. All final matches will be played on field 2. Great start to the day. Penalty stroke with Rhys Middleton taking the shot. Successful!! Lots of tough attacking and defending by both teams. Half time 1 - 0 to Thunder. Pretty strong wind today. Penalty stroke to red. Sam was able to convert. 1-1. Very even tough game. Another goal, Rhys. Great work. A few players are hitting the deck. Anyone would think it is slippery. No, it isn't. Win 2-1. Thanks red for a great game. Grand finals, here we come... woo hoo!! Thanks to our J2's Sophie, Jacinta and Taylor for playing full games. Great work. Players of the week. Our J2's. We played with no subs today. They all did an amazing job.

Finals Day! Our wonderful J1 Gold will be volunteering in the Canteen this week. As our season is drawing to an end, we will be selling off stock, so some items won’t be available, don’t worry – there will still be plenty of food & drinks to choose from. Also making a special comeback will be the Finals Cupcakes….come taste one of the yummy cakes – even tastier when it’s your favourite team colours! Order a team supply to celebrate after your games……Team Cake Sales - Orders must be received via TEXT by THURSDAY COB each week. 0409 872 707. Orders will be confirmed via reply text. Grand Final Day! Need to get a few extra hours to be able to get back your volunteer levy???? Come up to the Canteen on Grand Final day to help stocktake, pack away & do our final clean out before handover back to the cricket club. I would love about 4 helpers from 8:30am 10:30am! Presentation Events Junior Presentations will be on Sunday the 3rd of September. Presentations will run from 9am to 11.30am. The Celebration and Break Up Carnival will commence at 11.30am and conclude and 2.30pm. All registered juniors will receive a ride band, sausage sizzle, drinks and chips.. Bands and tickets are available to purchase for non-playing siblings and friends. A a cost of $5 for food tickets or $15 for ride band and food tickets. Carnival Rides & Activities will include: •

RIDE BANDS & Tickets available Saturday the 2nd of September & Sunday the 3rd of September. Please see Nicki Riley at the Fundraising Tent from 9am to 1pm on the 2nd or at the gazebos after the presentation on the 3rd! Please ensure you collect your Ride Band and Tickets to avoid confusion and disappointment on the day. Senior Presentation will be held on Saturday the 9th September at Henry Ziegenfusz Clubhouse The evening will commence at 3:30pm with old fashioned hockey games – old rules, such as offside and bullies, soft ball, pushing only. This will be followed by the celebration and meal from 6:00pm. The cost will be $10 per head for players and $20 per head for nonplayers. Payments can be made to Brian at the fields, to the RHA bank account or on the night. BYO drinks plus sales of the limited leftover stock.
