THE PORT INSTITUTE FOR EDUCATION AND RESEARCH (IPER)

Expertise, active listening, flexibility, and performance are key principles at the Institut Portuaire d’Enseignement et de Recherche (IPER), to support you and your collaborators when taking up the latest maritime and port challenges. These tenets bring genuine added-value that has put our Institute in pride of place at world level in Training and Research, as evidenced by those unique confidence links developed with the International Maritime Organisation, the figurehead in our sector of activities. During its 40 years of existence, IPER has succeeded in developing a powerful network of national and international experts, a wide portfolio of on-campus qualifying training modules, and acquiring unique know-how in teaching engineering and building customised programmes. This year, fresh ground has been broken by developing training programmes that are both complex and ambitious, in particular for the Port of Kribi and a leading Port Terminal Operator in Morocco. Our Institute has also been commissioned to train Haropa Port du Havre personnel assigned to LPG handling. This capability to be pro-active in such advanced expertise areas, to handle cohorts of over 120 learners, to develop customised programmes both in France and abroad, Are proof of our strengthsand our capacity to constantly adapt to ever changing markets. Our next challenge: to help you meet your own! CÉLINE ROLLAND, Director, IPER.
