Go to www.northtexasumc.org/donate. 100% of your donation will go directly to disaster response. We are gathering items for UMCOR Health Kits. See the Mission Matters table for list of specific items. If you are interested in participating in recovery work in the near future in the Houston area, make a note on your Connection Card.
As we strive to BE the Church in, for and with our community, we are joining efforts with United Methodists across North Texas in the One + One initiative.
Birthday Book Club Once a month we set up a table in the cafeteria at McNair Elementary, and let each student with a birthday that month select a BRAND NEW book from the table as birthday gift. How can you help? - Be on site at McNair to help distribute books (10:30am-1:30pm) - Donate NEW books (bring books to the Mission Matters table) Mentors and Reading Buddies (commitment for 1 hour, 1 time a week for the school year) Special event helpers - such as Fall Carnival, PTA programs, etc. (one time commitments as needed)

Save the date—Pumpkin Palooza—Saturday, October 21 The City of Corinth has a great fall festival called Pumpkin Palooza from 11-9 on Saturday, October 21 at Corinth Community Park. It's a free, family-friendly event. Faith UMC will be there, hanging out with our community, and offering free pictures with Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and Lucy. Bring your family out to enjoy CorinthPumpkinPalooza.com the day, and consider donating an hour of your time to help host our booth (we'll also need help with setup and tear down).
