Role of Camp Residents in Self-Management Refugee Central Committee (RCC)- is a resident coordination and leadership body that is consulted on multi-sectoral issues pertaining to camp life. It is made up of a Chairman, Vice chairman and Secretary, block leaders and women representatives. ►All refugees in Buramino Camp are individually RCC has nine subcommitees in health, women issues, security, youth and children, women, environment and sanitation, registered in UNHCR’s proGres database and hold population movement, food, executive commitee. Block leaders gather information on each block in the camp, provide ration cards. Ration card numbers are useful for information to refugees living in each zone and advocate on behalf of their respective zone residents. referral between partners and for distribution Women's association - runs a grinding mill (income generating project), mobilizes women's groups and represents women's events. Clan Elders Committee Refugee and Host Communities conflict resolution forum - on a monthly basis Protection working group on a weekly basis Environment Committee Local Administration The Kebele Chairman (Bur and Amino) are responsible for local (non-refugee) administration on behalf of Dollo Ado Woreda, Somali Regional State, Ethiopia. The Kebele Chairman and his administrative committee are consulted about refugee-host community relationship, natural resource use and managing conflicts between the refugee and host communities, with the help of local elders.
