iPad Data Summary Data indicates significant and consistent student growth with the use of iPads. Targeted students with the greatest need; ELL, Special Ed and Title One. Equity in Educational Access to Learning
Recommendation to Continue 1. This was short term pilot, how will longterm implementation impact student growth? (From October 2014 to end of May 2015)? 2. Isolated implementation, what would expanding the experience look like? (Encore too). 3. Would the experience enhance students’ abilities to compete?
Implementation Teachers in Grades 4 and 6 will lead a student boot camp preparing students for the iPads (This includes handling, how to use them, expectations, dos and don’ts, etc.) Administration will email out a interactive overview presentation with a digital signature to parents in grades 4 and 6 on September 27. This presentation will cover Lindop’s iPad vision ALL Parents must sign the agreement on paper and online.
