Setting up your Xbox on the OHIO wired network You will need:
Ethernet cable Xbox Computer OHIO ID and password
Setup steps: 1. Plug Xbox into the room’s Ethernet jack. 2. Turn Xbox on and go to the main menu. 3. Navigate through the menu like this: a. Settings b. Network c. Wired d. Configure network e. Additional f. Advanced 4. Your MAC address should appear in gray letters in the bottom left portion of the Advanced network setup screen. 5. On your computer, open a web browser and log into https://webapps.ohio.edu/netreg/index.cfm 6. Enter your Xbox MAC address (from Step 4 above) into the registration page on your computer. 7. Type something like “Xbox” as a description. 8. Click “Register” 9. Scroll down and click “Agree” 10. Restart your Xbox (power off/power on) 11. Have fun gaming!
