JOB DESCRIPTION FELLOWSHIP PARAGOULD

Fellowship Paragould is a young church growing in and by the grace of God. Comprised of individuals and families from nearly every demographic of the community, Fellowship is enjoying a contagious unity that can only be explained by the gospel. This unity flows from a carefully cultivated culture of grace where we revel in the reality that it’s okay to not be okay but by the power of the gospel we don’t have to stay that way. Out of this culture of grace, we’re seeing more than just great gatherings, as disciples are being made in the context of everyday life together. Even while we’ve held to our uncompromising goal of making disciples, Fellowship Paragould has experienced a growth rate of 51% over the past year. We launched the church in September of 2012 with 29 adults and 21 kids, in two missional communities (an MC is a family of missionary servants seeking to make disciples). At present, we see an average of 245 people at our Sunday gathering each week. We also have eight MC’s totaling 259 people. Within the missional communities, fight clubs meet weekly to fight their sin with the gospel, alongside their brothers and sisters. Within the past three years we have baptized 30 adults, 27 of which are still actively involved in the life of Fellowship. We also launched a church planting residency and will be sending out our first church planter in June of 2016. As part of our commitment to making disciples through planting more gospel-saturated churches, Fellowship is a part of the Acts29 Network and the Soma family of churches.

The vision of Fellowship Paragould is simple. We want every man, woman and child to have a daily encounter with the Real Jesus. We believe this will happen when we establish one missional community per thousand people in our city.
