Should they stay or should they go? - the duties of employers and health professionals for workers abroad. Are you aware of your responsibilities? This conference will provide important information for doctors, nurses, pharmacists and employers, who are involved with employees who travel abroad for their work. This joint conference of the Faculty of Travel Medicine and Faculty of Occupational Medicine will be of interest to employers and health professionals involved with people who travel overseas to work. Our group of eminent speakers will explore some of the complex responsibilities, including health assessments, duty of care, corporate responsibility, risk assessments, international security problems, the Equality Act, special issues concerning air travel, dealing with emergencies abroad and what you need to know about malaria and other tropical diseases. As well as specialist presentations, the conference will offer an interactive panel session, comprising health, HR and legal experts.
