Tips for Engagement Be sure to include the event hashtag in your posts: #KidsOpportunity Try to limit the hashtags and handles to 3 per post. You want a readable message. Shorter Tweets do better: 120 characters and under are more likely to be shared, clicked and liked. Include images, photos and video, they get attention. If you start a Tweet with a handle, put a period (.) before it: .@name. Otherwise, it's only visible to people who follow both you and the handle you mention. Don’t just “push out” information, interact with friends, followers and like-minded organizations. Ask and answer questions. Share quotes, key takeaways, statistics that move you. Tag speakers and organizations where possible.
