JOB SUMMARY Reporting to the Senior Social Media Strategist, the Social Media Coordinator sets, implements and measures social media, content, and influencer marketing campaigns for our clients. The social media coordinator will also be the voice of the client’s brand on all social channels, developing key relationships and ensuring consistency in the brand voice. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to): Social Content & Community Management Execute the brand social media strategy. Grow the reach and engagement of the community on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. In managing our clients’ communities, you must understand and live by the core principles of what makes a brand human in today’s digital age.         

Create and schedule a monthly social media content calendar that includes key campaign dates Curate and create social media posts, images, and stories to be published on the brand’s social channels in accordance with the brand’s content strategy Daily, engage, establish and cultivate relationships with key members of the brand’s community including customers, brand advocates, media outlets, partners, and influencers Create and organize social content and audiences using Twitter lists and Hootsuite streams Monitor social media channels and respond/act in accordance with social media policy Create, monitor, and report on content, event, and contest campaigns Create, execute and report on paid social campaigns (Facebook and Twitter ads) Generate monthly social media reports that demonstrate growth Create web copy and blog posts for posting on micro sites / blogs

Partner Content & Promotion Our clients work with a number of influencers and online media outlets to reach niche communities.   

Keep track of partner key dates and deliverables including social media posts, editorial articles, photos, videos etc. and ensure that they are up to date as per partner agreement Create and execute promotional plans for partners’ content in collaboration with partner(s) Measure the reach, engagement, and traffic (as applicable) of partner campaigns

KEY QUALIFICATIONS (but not limited to):     

University degree, diploma, or equivalent in communications, journalism, or digital marketing Minimum 3 years of previous experience managing online brand communities Excellent knowledge of key social channels including but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube Experience analyzing platform insights to provide community and campaign reporting Social Media Tools:

    

o Hootsuite is a must (certifications a plus) o Experience with Buffer and Sprout Social a plus Design experience using Canva or Photoshop Demonstrated expertise in social advertising (Facebook and Twitter) Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and brand priorities at one time Outstanding written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills
