Social Media Guidelines We welcome you and your comments to the EQUS REA LTD. (EQUS) social media pages – Facebook and Twitter. The purpose of our social media pages is to share helpful information, matters of interest and details on events and programs presented by EQUS to our members and the community. We review all messages sent to us, but we may not respond to all requests. Please note these sites are not monitored 24/7. Please report all emergencies or outages by calling your local Area Office. Please do not report emergencies or outages through social media. We ask that you do not post any personal information on the social media pages for your own security. By using this social media page, each user agrees that there is no expectation of privacy for any post or comment to social media page. EQUS encourages a positive, productive and cooperative atmosphere on their social media pages. By posting on EQUS’ social media page(s), you agree not to make unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar or otherwise objectionable comments. Comments advocating illegal activity or posting material that violates copyrights or trademarks are not allowed and will be removed from Facebook. EQUS reserves the right to remove any postings to our social media pages and to report and/or block users of Twitter and Facebook for failure to comply with these provisions. While employees may participate on our social media sites, an employee’s post does not represent the official response of EQUS. Please note that all comments made on the EQUS Facebook and Twitter pages are the responsibility of the commenter, not EQUS. By submitting a comment on our social media pages, you agree that the comment is public and your own, and to defend and hold our organization harmless from any and all claims, causes of action, liabilities or damages arising from your post. Postings that are shared do not imply endorsement. EQUS may share information relevant to our business or to the electric utility industry or other partnerships.
