About Us

Resources for Organizers:

Socializing for Justice is a grassroots, crosscultural, cross-issue progressive community and network in Boston based on the philosophies of abundance and radical inclusion.

There is no charge for organizations or individuals to become members. Below is information about the resources we share. We hope you find lots of ways to connect with us so we can support your work.

Community Building SoJust hosts events that draw progressives of all stripes that share common values, but may work on different issues. Our socials draw 2 dozen to 120 attendees and allow for the possibility of cross-issue connections.

Professional Development Our monthly ProfDev Series provides access to affordable professional development, to build our individual capacity for movement building. Registration is $10 online or $20 cash at the door.

Calendar of Progressive Events We cross-promote a wide range of Boston area social justice events at www.sojust.org/event.

Community Message Board We cross-promote job openings, volunteer opportunities, wish lists, calls for action, and much more at www.sojust.org/boards.

Connecting for Justice

Connecting for Justice events - held in January, May and September - always have a jobs board with the NonProfit Career Coach on hand, networking tags and regulars who help newcomers mingle. We ask for a donation of $5-$20 at the door and 25% of the proceeds are donated to a local organization chosen by attendees.
