The case of Puppy Doe rallied many animal welfare advocates and legislators to put forward legislation to improve protection for animals in Massachusetts and prevent abuse. H.4244 will help improve the welfare of animals in our state…
But only if it becomes law! The legislative session ends on July 31. H. 4244 must get to the floor for a vote before then!
Here’s what you can do... Contact your STATE legislators: Contact your state representative and ask him/her to push to pass _______________. If you do not know who represents you, visit www.wheredoivtoema. com and look for Rep in General Court and also find a phone number. You can also call your city/town hall to get this information.
