Sparkman 9th Grade School Summer Credit Advancement 2017 Madison County Schools along with Sparkman 9th Grade School is glad to announce a unique opportunity for students in the surrounding area to earn credits during June 2017. Many times students have a difficult time finding the right combination to take Drivers Ed and/or Health during the typical school year. While Drivers Ed is not required Health is a requirement for graduation. Host School: Sparkman 9th Grade School Registration: June 1st and 2nd, 8:00-3:00 Below you may choose from 3 options: _______
Option #1 – Drivers Education Only, $120/$145-out of district

One session limited to 45 students (priority given to MCSS students) June 5th – June 30th $120/$145 for out of district
Health
Primarily for Madison County Students (for students outside MCSS you must obtain prior permission from home district) Course is self-paced and online through PLATO, there is no face to face instruction Unlimited number of participants $120/$145-for out of district Satisfies Health requirement for graduation in Alabama Unit Test must be taken on campus – dates for testing will be each Tuesday and Thursday in June, starting June 8 from 10:00–12:00 on S9 campus (last testing date will be June 30) Final Health grade will be the average of all assessments Students that are only taking Health must attend an orientation on Monday, June 5th from 10:00-11:00
