Communications Executive, Special Olympics Europe Eurasia

_____________________________________________________________________ Summary: To support the Communications Director in all functions of the Communications Department and to support 58 national Special Olympics programs across the region Primary Responsibilities:  Research, compile and script stories related to Special Olympics across the Europe Eurasia region [58 countries]  Social media and website www.specialolympics.org postings  Research into potential media partners and Ambassador profiles  Assistance in the production of communications resources and content – video; editorials; presentations; speeches; newsletters; brochures etc  Support communications campaigns and events across the region including drafting of communications materials using Adobe software  Maintain contact database and Special Olympics digital/film library archive  Undertake ad-hoc assignments as may be requested by the Communications Director and/or Regional President  Manage translation services partnership to facilitate translation of key SOEE documents into multiple languages Required Qualifications/Skills:  Third level qualification in communications/journalism or related field  Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop  Excellent writing skills  Strong verbal communications skills  Excellent social media skills  Fluency in English language Please send your Curriculum Vitae with cover letter outlining your suitability for the role to Suzanne Coogan, Communications Director by deadline 5pm Monday 19th October 2015 via email [email protected] or by post to 3rd Floor Morrison Chambers, 32 Nassau Street, Dublin 2, Ireland.
