CRITERIA FOR AWARDS Senior Sports Personality (SSP) This award is made to a sportsperson 18 years of age or over as at 1 July 2015 residing in Midlothian, who has achieved outstanding success in their sport during the preceding year. Junior Sports Personality (JSP) Nominees for this award should be under 18 years of age as at 1 July 2015 and be a resident or representative of Midlothian. Nominees should have achieved outstanding success in their sport during the preceding year. Previous winners may not be nominated for the Junior Sports Personality award again. Senior Team Award (STA) This award is made to a senior (over 18s) team. Nominees must be based in or represent Midlothian and should have achieved outstanding success during the preceding year. Junior Team Award (JTA) Nominees for this award should be under 18 years of age as at 31 March 2015 and must be based in or represent Midlothian and should have achieved outstanding success during the preceding year.
