CHAMPIONS UPDATE Most of the Churches Together champions have committed for another term, which is wonderful news. Philip Tutt-Leppard has volunteered to be the new Business Champion. Philip runs a public relations consultancy in the city and tells more about his developing vision on our website. Meanwhile, the chair thanked David Boul, who is stepping down as Champion for Vulnerable People and those in poverty. Anyone interested in taking on this vital role within Churches Together should contact Nigel Hemming or Dorothy Lusmore via the website for more information.
We have had an e-mail from Lauren Cheshire, the youth leader at the Parish of St Faith, who meet at St Cross in Winchester. She says: "I am also a Founder of the charity Fledge (www.fledge.org.uk) who work with vulnerable and homeless people in Eastleigh Borough. "We are in very real need of more trustees with housing, financial, PR or IT (to be honest we are up for having a coffee with anyone feeling called to respond) experience/knowledge. We are a small charity but we are growing fast, with two houses now in Eastleigh housing 11, mostly young people."
