A Trip to Secret Valley

Summer Art and Technology Exhibition

“It was fantastic to see so many visitors and students admiring the talent we have here at the school. As well as the outstanding work we had amazing canapés and nibbles made by one of our GCSE food groups.”

"What an amazing show - such talent and excellence" "Excellent work throughout - what great talent there is in the school - keep up the good work" "I have to say I was blown away. Fantastic stuff" "As usual St Dunstan's students continue to impress"

Romeo and Juliet - off the page

I was really impressed with the creativity, imagination and talent in all the entries and actually wanted to give them all a prize! However, I have already said that there will be one first prize plus two runners up so: First prize goes to Macey for her animation which shows not just outstanding creativity and initiative, but also contains all the necessary information about the plight of our bees. Well done Macey! The two runners up are Teresa for her cake and Molly for her painting. I was pleased to see so many edible entries and they all looked amazing but Teresa's cake just had that WOW factor and really came across as 'Everything Bee'. I particularly liked both the paintings and found it very hard to choose between them. Cushla's is a beautiful image with an interesting, thoughtful composition and style showing a clear talent. Molly's vibrantly colourful flowers just kept drawing my eye though; I thought that she had really produced some good depth and perspective by her use of light and shading, showing just how important pollinating flowers are for protecting our bees. All in all, some outstanding entries which, as I said before, I was hard-pushed to choose between

I have enjoyed all lessons and coming to school

I think this school is exciting, the people are friendly. The lunches are tasty and it is a great school!

It is fantastic to see so many of our future students having a great day of sport. Creating these links with our primary schools can only be of benefit to the students and schools involved. Sport plays a massive role in school-life at St Dunstan's and it is important that we show this off to primary students. The positive feedback and dozens of emails the school has received regarding this event is overwhelming; it is fantastic to know the positive impact it has had on the children involved. Overall, the credit must go to the 50+ sports leaders who led by example and were great role models for the younger children. We are very proud!

St Dunstan’s School would like to wish them all the best for the future!
