Startup Europe Summit 2016

Umspannwerk Kreuzberg, Berlin, June 9-10 #SES16 brings together tech companies, startups, investors, the established industry and policy makers to network and discuss opportunities to translate between different understandings in policy and tech. As entrepreneurs and startups are often left out of the policy discussion, we traveled to 5 cities leading up to the Startup Europe Summit, to hear directly from local stakeholders about what is working and what is not. The June event will be framed around the most prominent and actively discussed topics: Growth: Internationalization, collaboration and the Digital Single Market Financing: Access to capital, the European investment landscape and Capital Markets Union Transatlantic: The US and Europe, privacy, data flows and TTIP We are weaving the above three themes throughout the two-day summit, and hosting roundtables jointly with EU and US regulators. The goal is to agree upon actionable items that will positively impact the startup reality in Europe and across the Atlantic.
