Private for-profit and not-for-profit aged care nurses and personal care workers

Tuesday 29 November 2016 2pm – Non members can join at the door. ANMF House Level 7, 540 Elizabeth Street, Melbourne VIC It is critical members employed in private for-profit and not-for-profit aged care attend this meeting to be part of the discussions and the decisions that affect your wages, workloads and ability to provide safe resident care. Between March and June 2017 ANMF will begin negotiations to improve wages and working conditions in over 500 Victorian aged care facilities.

To negotiate wages and conditions that value, recognise and reward the important work you do in aged care it is essential you participate in the negotiation process. Members can attend in person, phone in or via Skype. Childcare available and transport reimbursement available*. (Conditions apply. For more details see the online form.)

Aged care nurses and personal care workers are increasingly providing care to people with multiple and complex chronic conditions and diseases as well as providing palliative care.

This meeting is not for members employed at aged care providers where negotiations are underway or completed – this includes Bupa Aged Care, Wintringham, McKenzie Care, HammondCare, Chaffey Aged Care, Menarock (Glen Waverly, Shepparton, Upper Ferntree Gully only), and The Bays Hospital Group Inc (trading as The Bays)
