Stewart Domke, Midlothian ISD Board Trustee Stewart Domke has been in sales for over 20 years. As a Texas representative for a beverage company, Domke has developed long lasting relationships in the business world that directly translate to overseeing a school system. “The importance of communication and collaboration is essential in any organization but especially so to a high performing organization,” said Domke. We must make sure that “everyone knows the end goal, so the people making things happen, in our case teachers, feel engaged and have a clear understanding of the direction of the organization.” Domke’s business background enables him to know the difference between a need versus a want. He strives to use ”whatever dollars we have available to best create longlasting experiences for the students of Midlothian schools.” He attended Lancaster High School but has family ties to Midlothian since his grandfather along with other relatives grew up here. Travis, Ethan, Stewart and Kim Domke. He and his wife Kim, who met in an economics class at Texas A&M, moved to Midlothian in 1998 when she began teaching at Midlothian High School. Since Travis plays football and Ethan is on the baseball team, the family spends many nights watching sports. They also enjoy outdoor sports and snow skiing.
