UP7061 STRONGHOLD FILLER FOR PLASTIC Stronghold UP7061 is a flexible two component chemical paste used for filling scuffs and scratches in plastic parts. Stronghold UP7061 can be used as a finishing filler over the cured Stronghold adhesives.

Surface preparation and instructions for use
Stronghold UP7061 polyester filler can be used on all plastics provided that the following preparation is undertaken:•
Abrade the damaged area with P120-180 grit paper.

Pre-clean - spray Stronghold UP8030 waterbased cleaner directly onto the area to be cleaned. Clean the damaged area and thoroughly dry using a lint free cloth.

Apply Stronghold UP8020 adhesion promoter. Spray 1 – 2 light, even coats onto plastic surface. Allow to dry 10-15 mins air dry or 5-10mins at 140ºF.
Mixing ratio
100% by weight Stronghold UP7061 filler, 2% by weight U-POL hardener for polyester filler.
Pot life
Once mixed, 4 mins 30seconds. at 68ºF with 2% hardener.
Tools
Mixing board, filler knife, plastic or rubber spatula.
Drying time
Sandable after 20 mins. at 68ºF.
Over-painting
Stronghold UP7061 filler can be over-painted with most paint systems which are suitable for coating plastics.
