Accommodation details Type of accommodation Single rooms well lit with 2 lights and a window to receive plenty of sunlight. Some rooms offer a beautiful harbourside view. Accommodation includes shared bathroom facilities. Meals and kitchen 2 kitchens on different floors are provided as well as a dining room with TV and DVD player. Kitchen utensils are available for hire including, pots, pans, plates and cutlery. Rooms Each room has a 1 or 2 single beds or double bed, closet, storage space, desk with a chair and a mini-fridge. Internet and phone Available from NZD 3 (200MB) to NZD 30 (4GB). Telephone booths with call forwarding are positioned on all floors. Bed linen and towels Linen and towels are included. A weekly linen service is provided. Housekeeping vacuum and empty rubbish from Monday-Thursday. Deep cleaning is available for NZD 25.

Laundry and cleaning Token-operated laundries are available on 3 floors. Tokens cost NZD 3 and laundry powder sachets are available for NZD 1. Utilities Electricity and water charges are included. Electrical current is 230 volts AC (50 cycles) and students from some countries may require a transformer and a plug adaptor. Noise and restrictions Guests are requested to keep the noise level at minimum after 10pm. YMCA Hostel is an alcohol and drugs free accommodation, therefore you cannot drink or use illegal substance on the premises. Visitors Visitors must provide information and sign in at reception. Should a guest want to have visitor after 11pm a NZD 20 fee is applicable and must be booked before 11pm.
