2015 DRAFT FIXTURE RELEASE

Please note draft fixtures for the following leagues will be released at 4pm this afternoon. -

Women’s State Leagues Men’s Metropolitan Leagues Men’s Metropolitan Masters Leagues Sportsmart Junior Boys Sportsmart Junior Girls MiniRoos Leagues (Boys & Girls)

2015 draft fixtures can be found here from 4pm. Clash Free Fixtures Club Officials are urged to inform all coaches, players and their families that we are still addressing a number of fixture clashes and late team withdrawals. As we informed Clubs last week, FFV expects to have in excess of 500 additional teams competing in the above leagues in 2015. This adds an additional layer of complexity to the fixturing process and creates a number of challenges, especially in relation to ground availability and clash resolution. The competitions team at FFV is continuing to work through the relatively small number of clash resolution issues which remain, with a view to releasing a final (clash free) fixture on Wednesday 1 April 2015. Current venue and kick off times are therefore subject to change. Fixture Change Requests (Prior to Final Fixture Release) Between today and Friday 27 March, Club’s have the opportunity to request changes prior to the final fixture release date. Requests for changes can be made by either: -

emailing requests to [email protected]; or arranging to meet with a Competitions Coordinator inside or outside business hours at FFV Head Office to resolve fixture clashes directly (recommended for Clubs with a high volume of requests).

All fixture change requests must be submitted by 5.00pm Friday 27 March. Any request received after this deadline will not be considered. Requests will be considered and actioned at the discretion of FFV Competitions.

Final Fixture Release The Final Fixture release date of Wednesday 1 April, 2015 remains unchanged. Fixture change requests made following 1 April 2015 will only be considered by FFV if made in accordance with Rule 4.8 (page 31) of the 2015 Rules of Competition. Outside of reasons beyond the control of clubs (e.g. ground conditions or fixture clashes) FFV Competitions will not process any fixture change request that does not comply with Rule 4.8. Regrading Period The regrading period will take place between Rounds 3 and 4 with a catch-up weekend scheduled for the weekend between these rounds. See here for FFV Calendar. Regrading will only be considered in accordance with Regulation 10.6 of the Junior Regulations and for the following leagues: -

Sportsmart Junior Boys Sportsmart Junior Girls MiniRoos Leagues (Boys & Girls)

Regulation 10.6 has been introduced to the Junior Regulations in 2015 and we urge all clubs to familiarise themselves with this regulation and the rules now governing regrading. A request to regrade will only be considered if it is submitted by 9.00am on Tuesday 28 April, 2015 and can be submitted here. Requests to regrade teams via phone and email will not be accepted. Please note, regrading requests made during and prior to the team entry period will be processed in due course (unless we have received written instruction to withdraw any such request). Please do not re-submit a regrading request already made as it will cause confusion. Kind Regards,

Paul Marazita Manager, Community Competitions
